For Doorbells: 1. Keep the adapter unplugged. 2. Install the wires from the 24-volt adapter into the terminals for your doorbell unit (simply attach the two exposed copper wires to the doorbell and tighten the screws, regardless of positive or negative polarity). 3. Plug the adapter into the outlet. 4. Power up and verify your doorbell is receiving the necessary power using the accompanying application.

For Thermostats: 1. Turn off the power of the circuit breaker. 2. Install the wire from your 24-volt adapter to the "C" terminal and the other wire to the "RC" terminal. You need to use the included jumper and connect from "RH" to "RC" terminals if the HVAC system has cooling. 3. Plug the power adapter into the socket and turn on the power of the circuit breaker. Install the panel on the thermostat.
