The camera has a resolution of HD 3MP (2304*1296) with a 3.6mm lens, and it works with the Cam720 APP and 2.4GHz WiFi. It supports cloud recording, with 3-day auto coverage alert record (no subscription), and can be upgraded to 7-days or more (with a fee).

Installation is straightforward, with the option of drilling or pasting (requiring a 24-hour wait before hanging up the doorbell after pasting). If the camera is in power-saving or ultra-power-saving mode, it will be in sleep mode until something wakes up the doorbell, so users should switch to live monitoring mode for setup.

The doorbell can also be used without WiFi, but in this mode, it functions as a simple doorbell with no video capabilities. Self-installation is possible, as the doorbell has no complex wiring.

There is no subscription fee for the 3-day cloud storage, which automatically overwrites old footage. The doorbell is not compatible with 5GHz WiFi, as it only works with 2.4GHz, which has a wider signal range and is better suited for a doorbell.

The master account can grant access to up to 4 other accounts, and 2 users can watch videos simultaneously, but only one can use the intercom at a time. The doorbell is fully wireless, with the chime having a plug, and the doorbell being rechargeable.
